Upon moving to Michigan in 1996, we contacted Katherine to do the window treatments in our home. We had heard about her services through some members of the Detroit Piston organization. From the start, Katherine was wonderful. She listened to our ideas and incorporated her expertise to give us just the window treatments we were looking for. Decorations by Katherine installed blinds for the main floor of my home. I am very pleased with the look of my windows and functionality of the blinds. I had three goals I wanted to accomplish with my decision. The first was a designer look at a discount department store price. The second was keeping the cold air and hot sun from entering into the home. The third was to prevent sun damage on my furniture and wood floors.

I was so pleased with the cost and the results, I had Katherine install a custom drape at my office. The window was a curved glass block. Everything I looked at was going to be too costly. Katherine came in and had the curtain rod custom made to accommodate the curved window and a lined drapery installed at half the price of other quotes.

My husband and I are in the process of completing our lower level into a "Man Cave", which has ten very large windows. Of course this look will be entirely different from the main floor. I will be calling Katherine to install shades to give us the ambiance we are looking for. I highly recommend Decorations by Katherine.
